Brilliant central location, metro and train stations a stone's throw away. Very secure, 24 hour reception and they didn't mind how late you got back. Used a "buzzer" to get in, and they held your room key for you when you left. Very relaxed and plentiful breakfast - lounging on the window seats whilst tucking into cereals, toasts, yoghurts, fruits, hams, cheeses etc.... Very friendly staff, always willing to give advice when asked. Clean rooms and modern(ish) bathrooms with free soap and towels. Always a warm welcome, I would definitely stay again.

Unforgettable stay in such a beautiful city; super friendly and hospitable staff. The view from the room out onto Lisbon is worth it, believe me. Breakfast is sumptuous; I love the groovy music playing from the radio all day in the chic and comfortable lounge. the location is perfect - just a short walk to Rossio and metro stations. Very easy to get to and from airport/bus station. Right in front of the guesthouse are shops that sell everything you could need - groceries, shoes, clothes and several traditional Portuguese restaurants and importantly, the famous Ginjinha is right in front of the guesthouse - you have to try it! We even attended mass at Sao Domingos church, located directly in front of the guesthouse. The guesthouse was well conceived by an artistic mind with many interesting ideas such as a room key with a guestbook attached to it. The walls have quotes relating to Lisbon's story, just to name a few ideas this guesthouse encapsulates. I would definitely recommend this as one of the best places you could stay in, great value for money and would not hesitate to come back here when I come back to Lisbon.

At arrival we were greeted with an option to upgrade to a better room for no extra cost. The location is very accessible to all necessary means of transportation; metro, train, bus. All the staff were very friendly and thoughtful. The breakfast provided was more than satisfying; fruit, cereal, eggs, fresh orange juice, jams, cheese, ham, chorizo, coffee, and a variety of teas. The lounge area was ´muito fixe´ ..We would like to write more good things but we have run out of characters Obrigado

Our room was extremely small - we barely had enough room to put our suitcases. There was also only one plug in the room, so we had to choose between keeping the lamp on or charging our cameras/phones. The shard bathrooms had an inconsistent supply of hot water. On both mornings, we had to take a half cold/half hot shower. Furthermore, one of the bathrooms continually flooded every time someone took a shower.

good location off maine square Rossio, nice clean bedrooms and shared bathrooms with towels provided, kitchen for cooking meals if you want to, breakfast provided, computer with Internet available, along with guide books and flyers. friendly staff who speak perfect English. Only 2 small things: hooks in the bedroom for hanging towels on would be helpful - ('bairros' room), also one of the showers needs adjusting on that floor so it doesn't spray into the wall

The location is absolutely fantastic for both travel purposes (near Rossio terminal, trams and the Aerobus stop) and for exploring the loveliest parts of Lisbon on foot. The welcome we received was very warm, the place was spotless, and the breakfast perfectly fine and fresh. Our room was pretty small but it was nice to have an ensuite for â¬80 a night B&B per room - and anyway, the location is so central, you won't be spending much time in the room!

The breakfast is excellent, with fresh bread everyday. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are always spotless. The bedrooms have a lot of light and space. The lounge is perfect, with magazines, games, and cushions to sit on. The location is very centric, and this has its pros and cons. Pros: everything is close by, with transportation to anywhere in the city.

A most charming, friendly, warm and comfortable place to stay in Lisbon. Bruno gave us excellent and honest advice about places to visit, restaurant recommendations, and warnings about pickpockets on Tram 28. We heeded ALL of his advice and our stay in Lisbon could not have been more perfect. STAY HERE for the best possible Lisbon experience!!!

We love the Lisbon Story Guesthouse! The location cannot be beat, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. We love the common area and this time around (our second visit) we stayed in the Escritor room, which had a spectacular view of the Rossio Square and beyond. Highly Recommended!

It is everything I would expect from a hostel: it has a worm atmosphere, clean rooms, nice common facilities, and light breakfast to get you on the go. As a bonus it's in the dead-center of Lisbon.

We stayed at Lisbon Story just for one night, but it was enough to feel it's nice atmosphere- our room was very cosy, and in the common room you can really relax, sitting on comfy cushions, listening to good music or reading one of many books/guide books available there. The service was also very helpful and friendly. Our overall experience was very positive
