It is to expensive for what you get! It is a normal Hostel without any free Breakfast, just free Coffee. There are a lot of guys hanging around, watching TV or playing video games. It is ok!! But not like you expect when you pay 27Dollar.

There was one small bathroom were the shower was really dirty.The bigger one was quite okay but you have to pass another sleeping room which is maybe annoying for the people who sleep there. Staff was very friendly!!

It's amazing, just like living at someone's house with all your mates. The staff are like friends and are extremely helpful. Close to everything you will want to see in LA. Can't say enough good stuff about it, whenever I'm in LA from now on this will be my home as thats exactley what it was.

This Hostel is a Hidden Gem in Los Angeles. You could spend a day at the beach, and have drinks in Hollywood at night all while never being a very far from home base. The Atmosphere very relaxing and the staff have never failed to be amazing. Whether you have a Car or are hiking it on Public Transit, the Duo has an amazing array of options very close by. You can easily get to Santa Monica, Venice and Hollywood by bus or Take the Tube to Universal City, or North Hollywood

the hotel is very comfortable, and its staffs are very kind. i like the hostel so much. but it is far to subway station. it is a pity, but i want to stay at here, if visiting santa monica again.

Great! Staff is really friendly and helpfull! The bus will take you anywere you wanno go. Had a great time and didn't even notice that there were more guys then girls. They make you feel at home! Thanks guys!

Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable staff! No keys for any of the doors and no locking of the main door in the evenings. Nowhere to securely store luggage etc. There is CCTV in the hostel but I could only ever see 1 member of staff on duty. Also - not very clean/well looked after. The skylight in one of the upstairs bathrooms leaked, shelves broke and neither smelt good! I did note that all the staff were male and that it was a very male hostel would benefit from a woman or two on staff

Staff were excellent, made it much nicer than it could have been, location for us was good, its safe and an easy bus trip to santa monica, got everything you need in walking distance. felt like people staying were more permanent than travellers but still cool.

The hostel is a house in a convenient location so it really feels like a home away from home. Staff helped me to choose different places I could go and see, and made me feel comfortable right away. I enjoyed returning back from a day’s sightseeing to be welcomed by friendly staff asking, how was your day? I also liked the relaxed living area.

The staff here were friendly and the internet was damn fast (around 20mbps when I tested it). I was able to find a place to sit down and use my laptop, which I appreciate, because it sucks to use it while sitting in bed. There was a free BBQ which was delicious.

The staff were the best I've ever had at a hostel. Super friendly, really accommodating, they lent me money for the bus, and made me feel right at home. The free BBQ was great, was a really great place just to chill out and relax.

The staff were really friendly, giving great tips about where to go and what to see. Plus Dan cooked up a great BBQ for everyone and we all went out into Hollywood and partied. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone heading to LA, it's way cheaper than any others in that area too.

Very friendly staff, like a little family! :) We had a great free bbq! Everything is open, so it seems like you are in your own house. free laundry, two big kitchens, just perfect!!

Awesome people. The staff is SO helpful and great fun. They give you all sorts of advice and help you out whereever they can. I've even extented my stay. I've met some great people there. It is quiet at night and the quiet study area is very convenient.
