Cool beds with own outlets and light. Own bathroom in each room. Many guided tours. Breakfast was not as good as i wished.

It is a clean mid-size hostel in the heart of Hollywood. Breakfast is kinda simple...I'd add at least free milk+cereal. Stuff were excellent.

Awesome hostel in a great spot, about 5 mins walk to the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The staff were all super nice and helpful. They do BBQ dinners and cheap drinks in the bar, definitely value for money! Would definitely stay here again!

Jaime at the front desk was excellent, as was Johnny, other female receptionists didn't want to be there in the slightest. Breakfasts were excellent, as was security and location. Only two out of five washing machines were working which made life a little tedious and internet reception in the rooms would drop out constantly. Great hostel in general, clean, tidy, secure... All in all a good place to stay in LA.

I had a great stay at USA Hostels Hollywood. Great Pancake breakfast, short stroll to the walk of fame and the hostel offers plenty of add on features like walking tours, pub crawls and upstairs there is a chill out area and bar... Includes beer pong and fuseball! Great stay! Great Hostel!

The location and the staff of the hostel are great, if you want to have a party every night and meet other travellers go there. However it felt a bit like a kindergarden with all the rules to obey.. no drinks and food in the rooms, no sleeping bag in the room and you don't even get it back for packing up your stuff, whats that all about.. overall stay was nice though, thanks to the very friendly staff!

Awesome place to stay and well situated near the Hollywood Boulevard. Only problems were that the Wifi does not reach the end of the hostel so some rooms may not have access and also noise levels being higher than I would've preferred. Guess that's dependant on your luck : when you stay and who you stay with. Overall a pleasant experience though!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a really good atmosphere. It was clean and felt safe and secure, location was close to Hollywood and Sunset Blvds.

I've stayed in tons of hostels around the world and i'd have to say that this is one of the best. Awesome staff, rad activities and a sweet bar with live music and comedy you guys really knock it out of the park. Ill be back next time i'm in town for sure.

Das beste Hostel, in dem ich jeh war!!! Das Fuehstueck war fantastisch und die Mitarbeiter unbeschreiblich nett und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte nur drei Tage in Los Angeles und dank den Angeboten des Hostels und der Hilfe der Mitarbeiter wurden diese drei Tage unvergesslich! Das Hostel war immer super sauber (Kueche, Bad...) und ich habe mich sehr sicher gefuehlt. Der Preis ist zwar hoch, aber es ist auf jeden Fall wert, ein paar Dollar mehr zu bezahlen.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the daily tours are great value. A big thanks to Bob who took us on the "pub crawl". It was really awesome.

It is situated in Hollywood with just a 10 min walk to the Chinese Theatre, Madam Tussaud's and Ripley's Believe it or not. They have a kitchen facility where every morning the staff at the hostel prepares batter for pancakes and so you could prepare yourself a yummy breakfast of pancakes with syrup in less than 5 mins. They also provide fresh fruits, cereals and coffee. It is very clean and hygienic and the staff is extremely friendly. The hostel had a very lively atmosphere.

The Hostel is in a great location and is clean and well looked after. Atmosphere with other travellers was great. The staff however where very strict with the security and at times were rude even to their own guests. This definitely needs improvement.

USA hostels are some of the best in the states..also stayed at USA in San Fran not booked through hostelworld so I cant review it but also amazing. Heaps of events to get everyone to meet and make friends. Clean. Loads of security.

The location is very good. It is close to the hollywood and bus stops. A lot of dining places and cafe are around. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Everyday, they propose a different activity to discover L.A (more about Hollywood though). They also propose a meal every night, for 6$, so those who don't want to pay too much for supper can have it there for cheaper. The access to the hostel is very secure. We have to show our card everytime we want to get in the hostel so that way, they make sure the only people in there are those who have a room. The rooms and the kitchen were very clean. Every night, there is a little something organised at the lounge, where you can buy a drink a lot cheaper than in a bar (3$!!) and they put enough alcohol in it. ;) The 3$ totally worth it! You must do the hollywood sign tour, they really bring you in a good spot (the best any tour has brought us). But don't forget to put on some good shoes because you will walk a quit long distance in the mountain (but it's still streets...). Just make sure you're comfortable ;) I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

This is a really great property located 2mins from Hollywood blvd or sunset blvd Stayed in 8 bed dorm and was very clean and comfy bunks were good size even for over 6ft people Great staff on arrival and throughout my stay , always someone close by to help out with any questions Daily activities laid on by hostel and good cheap meal deals I.e BBQ and pasta nights on every other night for $6 , also well equipped kitchen and massive fridge/freezer to bring you're own stuff Bar and common room upstairs with $3 beers til late but place never got noisy or rowdy and as for outside noise I didn't hear any apart from the odd siren in the distance Free breakfast in morning was good ( best time is before 8 as gets busy ) pancakes , toast , bagels and tea &coffee I could go on how good it was and am already planning return trip

Great location, a short walk to Kodak theatre, view of the Hollywood sign, shops etc, and close enough to metro stations and bus stops to get everywhere else relatively easily. Lots of helpful tips and activities organised, good kitchen facilities and breakfast.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Its really clean and most of the staff are really helpful. There is something to do every day either for free or a small fee. The free Comedy night was lost of fun, and all my day trips were organised hassel free through the hostel. Free pancakes each morning really helps save some cash. I'll definitely be back!

At check in, international/out-of-state guests must present a valid passport or out-of-state American driver's license.
